I love telling stories.
I’ve been making films since I was seven years old, when I first got a camera and tried to recreate the mystique of the movies that obsessed me—especially the monsters. Working with no budget forced me to improvise, experiment, and invent solutions. That early constraint shaped how I approach filmmaking: the problem-solving is the art. Finding the most inventive way to tell a story is what excites me most.
After graduating from a performing arts high school, I earned a BFA in Film and Television from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, focusing on screenwriting and special effects. I later completed a master’s degree in Cinema Studies at SCAD and returned to Atlanta, where I began working in Locations. Across multiple productions, I applied the same creative logic to logistics by treating real-world limitations as opportunities for creative problem solving.
In 2023, I served as Special FX Coordinator on the feature film We’re So Dead, building on effects work from numerous short films. Since then, I’ve worked as a Unit Production Manager on a ReelShort production, Locations Manager on the feature Clean Hands, and Consulting Producer and Locations Manager on Matīss Kaža’s upcoming mockumentary I Love You, Lex Fridman.
Currently, I’m finishing post-production on Burnt Hickory, a found-footage feature I co-wrote and directed, developing the ongoing comic series Ghostwood, and building a new project under wraps: Monster-in-a-Box. Even while working in the industry full-time, I use the space between productions to develop new material and push personal projects forward.
I’m drawn to monsters because they’re honest. They externalize fear, desire, obsession, and contradiction; in their strange reversal is a form of magical amusement that makes the power of cinema so exciting. The horror becomes comedy and the unreal bears more truth than reality. Cinema gives these unreal truths life. Without it, the monsters (or the magic of movies) wouldn’t exist.
FX/art
My primary focus is in the world of FX and art. I have experience in prop fabrication and FX rigging—corpses, strange relics, monsters, puppets, wounds.
I have a fully equipped workshop where I am capable of sculpting, molding, casting, painting any type of project needed for your production. Whether that is a silicone mask/suit/prosthetic, blood rig, edible props, or cloud tank sequences.
writing/directing/Producing
I have co-written three feature films, written three additional feature screenplays, and developed over a dozen short films. I don’t always direct my own material and enjoy collaborating as a writer within larger creative teams when a project calls for it. My work spans comedy, horror, drama, thriller, crime, western, and science fiction, with a particular interest in genre hybridity. I’m drawn to stories that emerge from unexpected combinations and surprising results. I would love to write your movie for you!
I have directed nearly a dozen short films and four micro-budget feature projects. In addition to directing my own work, I’ve joined productions as a director on material I didn’t originate, helping refine and execute an existing vision. I’m especially interested finding visual, tonal, and logistical solutions that honor the writer’s intent while expanding the cinematic language of the project. My producing work is rooted in creative problem-solving. I began producing on micro-budget mockumentary projects of my own, but expanded while working on I Love You, Lex Fridman, where I helped secure unconventional elements under real-world constraints. Beyond logistics, I collaborated closely with the director and cinematographer to shape the evolving structure of improvised scenes, ensuring that production decisions actively served the story rather than simply solving practical problems. Misc. Production work
I have worked in the Locations and Production Departments as a UPM, Locations Manager, and as Assist for six productions on Lifetime, BET, Tubi, FOX, ReelShort, and upcoming indie film Clean Hands.
