PUPPETS & PROPS

PUPPETS

PHABOTHO: A giant, otherworldly monstrous head was constructed as a collaboration between myself and Rob Benevides for my short film, Flesh Void.

HOLY SH!TSNAKES, BATMAN!: This rather amusing puppet was done for the award-winning short film, Brown Evil directed by Jesse Swanson.

FIFI & FAFA: These cheap, sinister puppet-costumes were created for the short Finca Farm, directed by David Scherker. The premise involved a man getting trapped inside a cheap children’s show where the characters are not what they seem.

Props

BAD LUCK CROW: A dead crow prop made for the short film Lizards for Boys, Turtles for Girls, directed by Paul Rowe. Real dead bugs were glued onto the prop and dusted to give authenticity to its decay.

GNOME IN A JAR: A more primitive interpretation of a gnome was sculpted onto a form, which was then cast and “preserved in a jar of water.”

ESTHER: A mummified corpse of a woman who starved to death. Done as a collaboration between Bruce Dickens and myself.

SMOKING LUNGS: Done for an environmental presentation on the effects of smoking on human lungs. A healthy lung was sculpted and cast alongside one modeled after a smoker.

TOONCES, THE DEAD CAT: A mummified cat corpse made for the short film Lizards for Boys, Turtles for Girls directed by Paul Rowe.

SEVERED FINGER: This severed appendage was made from a mold cast of my very own finger!

WENDIGO TROPHY: A classic depiction of the Wendigo as a taxidermy wall mount.

VAMPIRE BAT (MUMMIFIED): Coming soon.
